This series is characterised by its combination of lightness, compact dimensions and great energy absorption capacity.
It is based either on an aluminium housing (GW series), or on an aluminium profile housing with integrated cooling fins (GWK series).
By connecting multiple compact resistors in series, resistor units with capacities of between 50 W and 10 kW can be reached. Accordingly, protection classes up to IP 66 are guaranteed.
Applications:
- As braking and chopper resistors in variable-speed drives
- As load and testing resistors
- For integration in, mounting beneath or beside your frequency inverter.
